We were sub-contracted to "fix" the property management software for a local real-estate company, who after having their web site designed and developed by a former well-known web development firm, found themselves unable to use their own web site.
The job was to create a flexible, easy to manage system to display and maintain all of their real estate properties. However, upon looking at the site's source code, we discovered an absolute mess of a system, which would have put maintenance costs through the roof.
At least 100 different .asp files made up the site. Additionally, the navigation bar would only display properly in Microsoft Internet Explorer.
This site was an accessibility and usability nightmare.
We developed a custom system that would allow the client to easily manage their entire portfolio. The system is straight forward, intuitive, and most of all, extremely secure.
Today, their site is a rich, friendly, usable, efficient, and attractive interface designed using CSS and coded with proper valid XHTML.
