About Jason Lashua
Since 1998 I have been dedicated to creating websites and web applications. Computers and technology have been a crucial part of my life going as far back as my first grade of elementary school where Apple II computers filled our school's rooms. From Apple LOGO, to BASIC, and eventually learning Pascal, programming had been a fun hobby of mine, and when the web exploded in the late 90's, I took interest in learing how to write web pages.
In 2001 I started learning how to build dynamic websites with PHP and MySQL. Since then, I have developed many products that many modern websites require today, from news blogs, to content management.
In 2004, I discovered web standards. Albeit a little late, I realised that only a few designers in the local area were working with web standards. CSS is a great way to build excellent web sites, the benefits far outweigh the methods of yesteryear.
